Herzlich Willkommen! I am the German teacher here at Damien High School. German is my mother tongue and I love to teach it to my students.

I was born and raised in Berlin, Germany. My studies took me to France where I earned a Master's in International Relations from the University Paul Valery in Montpellier, and then to the USA where I got my Master's degree in German Literatures from the University of California, Santa Barbara. In graduate school I met my husband Stephen. Together we have eight children some of whom are Spartan men. I am the proud mother of two sons who graduated from Damien in '16 and '19, one who will graduate in '21 and another future Spartan who will (hopefully) graduate in 2024.
